A series of community listening sessions planned by the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office and Jackson County COMBAT kicks off tonight at the Mohart Multipurpose Center, 3200 Wayne Ave., Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
The first session will be held at Mohar from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The public is invited. Please click here for more information.
A second session will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in eastern Jackson County at East Side Church, 19901 E State Route 78 Highway. A third session will be announced soon.
The sessions are an effort to encourage dialogue with the community and boost a mutual understanding of the community's goals for public safety. A reception will follow the listening session. At least two others are planned and their times and locations will be announced soon.
