Jackson County Prosector in a new blog post today dives deep into the the number of homicides and her office's success rate in filing and winning convictions in these cases. The post examines data for 2023 and larger data sets that support these high filing rates.
A key takeaway message: If you get caught for a homicide in KC, you’re very likely to be charged and convicted.
