Two men have been charged in the March 11, 2017, fatal shooting of 32-year-old Dorron Blackmon outside gas station in Kansas City, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Dionandre Ganter, 8/31/1988, and Michael Sewell, dob: 7/17/1974, each face Murder 2nd Degree, Attempted Robbery and two counts of Armed Criminal Action.*
According to court records filed today, surveillance video of the BP Gas station on East 39th in Kansas City, as well as witness statements, showed that the defendants attempted to take a gun from the victim, as sat in a vehicle, and then shot him. Sewell told police detectives that if video showed him robbing and killing someone, then it was him.
Prosecutors requested a $250,000 bond for each defendant.
