A Jackson County jury has recommended that Justin Fields, 10/19/1989, serve 18 years in prison for the sexual assault of a woman in her Kansas City residence, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
A Jackson County jury earlier in the week convicted Fields of Forcible Rape and Forcible Sodomy. Late Thursday, the jury recommended a sentence of 18 years in prison. A judge will sentence on June 7 at 10 a.m.
Fields was accused of the sexual assault in June 2013 of a woman in a Kansas City residence.
Jackson County Prosecutors Audrey McCormick and Nick Heberle prosecuted the case on behalf of the state of Missouri.
