A Kansas City man, 51, faces multiple felony charges in connection with the Dec. 14, 2022, fatal shooting of Curtis Henderson in the 3600 block of Jefferson Street in Kansas City, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Francisco J. Enriquez, dob: 1/7/1971, faces Murder 2nd Degree, two Unlawful Use of a Weapon charges and two Armed Criminal Action charges.*
According to court records, Kansas City police on Dec. 14, 2022, were dispatched to the 3600 block of Jefferson Street and found the victim, Curtis Henderson, dob: 5/15/1964, on the front porch of the residence. He had been shot. KCPD detectives found video from the residence showing the victim and the defendant arguing. When the victim put his hands up in a boxing stance, the defendant pulled out a gun and fired a shot, hitting the victim. The defendant fired a second shot in the general direction of the house. Spent shell casings were found at the scene.
