For Immediate Release
Oct. 24, 2024
Consistent with longstanding practice, the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office is now soliciting reports of any suspected voting irregularities as voters in Jackson County are casting ballots for the Nov. 5, 2024 general election, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Early voting began this week. The Prosecutor’s Office will monitor election day polling locations for any issues. As always, the Prosecutor’s Office will work with local law enforcement to ensure that all qualified voters have the opportunity to cast their ballots, and no one interferes with the election process. We also will be in communication with Kansas City and Jackson County Election Boards.
Anyone who witnesses issues at the polls is urged to call the prosecutor’s office 816-881-3592. The office has staff trained and on call to manage such issues.
