A Grandview, MO, man has been charged in a domestic assault of three persons inside a Grandview residence, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Collins I. Milimu, dob: 11/4/1985, faces three counts of Domestic Assault 1st Degree, three counts of Armed Criminal Action and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.*
According to court records, Grandview Police Department officers on May 14, 2023, were dispatched to the 13000 block of Manchester. A reporting party told police that an injured victim arrived at the residence. Officers went to the defendant's residence and observed the defendant leaving. After officers forced entry into the residence, they found three victims, two of whom had life-threatening injuries. The victims had been hit with a hammer. Two victims are juveniles. The defendant admitted to hitting three vicimts. The defendant also stated that he needed, “my sense of revenge.”
Prosecutors recommended the defendant be held on no bond.
