A 17-year-old man faces Murder 2nd Degree and other felony charges in connection with a fatal shooting Tuesday of Eliud Lisboa in Independence, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Antonio Stocker III, dob: 6/25/2000, faces Murder 2nd Degree, Assault 1st Degree and two counts of Armed Criminal Action.*
According to court records filed today, Independence police responded to the scene of a reported shooting in the 600 block of N. Peck Court. According to witnesse, two men outside a residence in the 600 block of N. Peck Court were firing shots, including the victim, Eliud Lisboa. Shell casings were located in the street. Stocker told police that he was involved in the shooting and shot the victim when the victim was unarmed. He and another man disposed of clothing and the gun in a creek bed.
Prosecutors requested a $150,000 bond.
