A Kansas City man has been charged for an attack of another man at the City Hall homeless camp late on April 5, 2021, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Carl E. Frazier, dob: 7/7/1970, faces a charge of Assault 1st Degree.
According to court records, Kansas City police responded late on April 5 to the homeless camp at 12th and Oak and identified Frazier as a suspect in the attack on another man at the camp with a machete. Surveillance video showed the assault with the machete. Frazier told police he had been in a conflict with other men at the camp.
