According to court records, Kansas City police officers, on Jan. 1, 2016, found the victim, dob: 1/12/1990, outside a residence on Raytown Road. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the head. The victim and defendant argued over how many of the Xanax pills the victim had just obtained would be provided by the victim. The defendant reached for his gun under his leg, the witness stated. A shot was fired and the victim was struck in the head. They left the victim's body along the road and took his drugs, the witness added.
