A second clinic to help individuals expunge old felony convictions and to register to vote will be held tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, at a Kansas City community center, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
The clinic will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Morning Star Community Center, 2525 E 27thh St. in Kansas City. Persons who should consider attending include those who want to restore their right to vote after a past felony conviction; anyone not registered to vote in the state of Missouri; and anyone who has changed addresses since the last time they voted.
The Expungement Clinic and Voter Registration effort are hosted by the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office, the Urban League of Greater Kansas City and Urban Summit.
