A 23-year old Kansas City man has been charged with the murder of Darian Jackson on Nov. 29, 2018 on Van Brunt Blvd in KC, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced.
Anthony Eskridge, dob: 12/8/1994, faces one charge of Murder 2nd Degree, one charge of Attempted Robbery 1st Degree, two charges Assault 1st Degree, and four counts of Armed Criminal Action.*
According to court records filed today, on 11/29/2018, officers were dispatched to Van Brunt Blvd in regard to a shooting. Two victims were located at the scene and transported to an area hospital for treatment. While at the scene, officers were notified a third victim was transported to the VA Hospital. This victim, later identified as Darian Jackson of Kansas City, died of his injuries after being transferred to another area hospital. Witnesses at the scene stated defendant and Darian Jackson arrived together at the address on Van Brunt and shortly thereafter, started shooting.
Prosecutors have requested a bond of $250,000 cash.
