A 57-year-old Kansas City man, who is a convicted felon, faces felony charges for shooting another man Friday during an argument, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Timothy L. Walker, dob: 11/18/1959, faces Assault 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action charges.*
According to court records filed today, police responded on a reported shooting the 5400 block of Jackson and found the defendant, who said he had shot a man. He was standing near a shotgun. A witness told police that she heard gunshots and looked outside and saw the defendant arguing with a man, who got into a vehicle. Then walker shot him through the window. The witness said the victim had no gun and didn't threaten the defendant, who is a convicted felon.
Prosecutors requested a bond of $150,000.
