A second defendant has been charged in the Jan. 5, 2020, fatal shooting of Earl Finch III in his driveway, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Anderson D. White, dob: 9/23/1994, faces Murder 2nd Degree and Armed Criminal Action.*
According to court records, police were dispatched to the 4900 block of Walrond on a reported shooting and found the victim, Earl Finch III, in the driveway. He was deceased from gunshot wounds. Video from a neighboring residence showed a vehicle pull up a few houses away from the victim, then two men walked to Finch, shot him and ran away. The defendants were later identified from the video. The other defendant, Darren D. Hamilton, dob: 9/9/94, told police he was passenger in a vehicle connected to the murder by police detectives. After he was taken in custody, he also said he shot the victim after White shot him.
Prosecutors requested a bond of $250,000 cash.
