The Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office is committed to protecting the public’s right to know by maintaining transparency with the public, while also adhering to our ethical obligations under Missouri law.

The office is equally committed to protecting the Constitutional rights of every individual accused of a crime.

This newsroom is designed to notify the public about the progress of criminal cases of interest and to provide updates on public safety policy developments, as well as information about our office’s involvement in our community.

Because of the volume of criminal charges filed by our office, this newsroom cannot cover all criminal cases and public safety policy issues in which our office is involved.  If you are interested in information about cases not highlighted here, please contact the Director of Communications at (816) 881-3812.
