According to court records, residents at a home on Ralston in Sugar Creek told them a man had forced his way into the home and beat the victim. Police found the victim, bloody and in various states of consciousness. He was beat by the suspect, he told police, and the suspect used a gun to beat him. The suspect also poured some sort of cleaner on the victim's clothes and threatened to set him on fire. Another victim wasn't beaten but was tied up, as well, and also had fluid poured on him. Sugar Creek police officers enlisted the help of Grandview officers after they learned the suspect was in a Grandview residence.
Bond has been set at $150,000.
