I have worked for the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office for more than 25 years. I started as an intern during law school and have worked in every department within the Office. I have served as your elected Prosecutor for 12 years. I take my oath as a Prosecutor and as a lawyer very seriously as I strive to meet my ethically obligation in all my job responsibilities. That is why there are times when I can speak about a case and there are times when I can’t. 

 You will see me do interviews and hold press conferences occasionally and even in those situations, I can only speak in the parameters given to me by state law and ethics. This blog is an opportunity for me to speak for myself while I also maintain my ethical integrity as required by my oath as a prosecutor.
