Investigating Violent Crime: The Prosecutor's Role

A new national study by the U.S. Department of Justice -- Investigating Violent Crime: The Prosecutor's Role -- explores the role that prosecutor's play in reducing, investigating and prosecuting violent crime. Jackson County prosecutors, including Chief Trial Assistant Bryan Covinsky, and former Chief Trial Assistant Ted Hunt, particpated in the Justice Department's look at how prosecutors approach the difficult task of charging violent crime.
