An undercover police officer later purchased from the defendant the murder weapon. Further testing found the DNA of one victim. Crime scene investigators matched impressions from the shoes being worn by the defendant at the time he was arrested.
Walker, who is serving 30 years on a federal conviction of unlawful possession of a firearm, will be sentenced at a future date.
Assistant Prosecutors Jeremy Baldwin and Ashleigh Ragner prosecuted the case on behalf of the state of Missouri.
